Oral & Maxillo-facial Surgeon
Prof. Dr Sumit Chopra is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with expertise in treating patients requiring surgeries of the oral cavity, mouth, and face.
He has completed his graduation in year 2001 and post graduation in year 2005 from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. He has further worked in many prestigious institutes of India like GSR Cranio-facial Institute Hyderabad, Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute, New Delhi. He has also worked as a Professor & Head and a P.G. Guide at Atal Medical & Research University, Paonta Sahib, H.P. where he has also guided several B.D.S students and M.D.S. students. He has also published various research papers in National as well as in International journals and he has also participated in various State level and National level conferences as a Key-note speaker.
He is also well versed with the management of impacted teeth/grossly decayed/hopeless teeth extractions, maxillo-facial trauma, facial swellings, facial asymmetry correction, orthognathic surgery, dental implants, bone grafting and sinus lift surgeries, cleft lip and cleft palate surgeries.

He has held the esteemed position of Professor and Head of Department (H.O.D.) in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Atal Medical and Research University, Paonta Sahib, H.P., and boasts 19 years of teaching experience. Under his mentorship, nearly 50 students have completed their thesis.
